"There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain..."

Healing:

There are numerous aspects of healing, many of which are often ignored and overlooked. Many of which have nothing to do with doctors or medicine. Many in fact have to do with a persons own mind, soul, emotions and thoughts. Their "focus" or "frame of mind" so to speak. One needs to be in a possitive frame of mind with a genuine appreciation for health and wellness if they wish to attain health and wellness. Some times this is difficult to achieve is one is suffering from chronic or ongoing pain. Pain becomes its own focus, and is difficult to see beyond. People, body and mind, need to be reminded of what health feels like. Sometimes the best way to remind someone is through massage. Massage can reawaken and remind a persons mind and body of what health feels like. And remind them that they prefer that feeling to pain. "There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain..." Realizing this is often the first step on the path away from pain and to health and wellness,.. Knowing where one wants to go.

Why Massage?

Massage has many benifits and uses. From simply helping circulation to areas that have poor circulation, all the way to the point of creating a form of focused meditation and visualization for life changes. Massage, when practiced responsibly is almost without risk of negative results. And therefore is as safe a treatment as there is.

Where does it come from?

Massage has been around since the first time humans touched. It has been practices, studies, and taught in many forms and for many purposes throughout the world as long as there has been a concern for well being. There are many forms, philosophies, and techniques,.. All with the same eventual goal.. "To relieve pain, and promote health, pleasure, and wellness."
